چکیده

Power loss and voltage magnitude fluctuations are two major issues in distribution networks that have drawn a lot of attention. Numerous strategies been put forward to provide remedies lessen the undesirable effects these issues. Combining approaches dealing with them simultaneously get more effective outcomes is essential. Therefore, this study hybridizes network reconfiguration capacitor allocation using novel dingo optimization algorithm (DOA) solve problems. The problems for simultaneous allocations were formulated solved DOA. To demonstrate its effectiveness, DOA’s results contrasted those other techniques. methodology was validated on IEEE 33-bus implemented MATLAB program. demonstrated best accomplished switches 7, 11, 17, 27, 34 open, buses 8, 29, 30 places capacitors ideal sizes 512, 714, 495 kVAr, respectively. profile significantly improved, power losses decreased. When compared some different methods, DOA came out top.

Simultaneous Network Reconfiguration and Capacitor Placement for Loss Reduction of Distribution Systems by Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm

The objective of this study is to solve the simultaneous network reconfiguration and capacitor placement for loss reduction in distribution systems. The work employs a meta-heuristic method called Ant Colony Optimization (ACO). The ACO algorithm tries to emulate the behaviour of real ants by which they are able to identify the shortest path between a food source and their nest. The proposed app...
